The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regard to the high amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area regularly. The company place established for intervention experiences a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to empower the servicing of all buyers and boost usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
